The PBY Catalina served the United States Navy and allied nations throughout WWII and continued to serve long after. The PBY-5A was used as a maritime patrol bomber, for anti-submarine patrol and as an air-sea rescue aircraft. The Minicraft Catalina is the US Navy PBY-5A ‘Black Cat which operated in the Pacific during World War II. The kit features high quality Cartograf decals, markings for 2 aircraft and recessed panel lines.
