Tamiya 1/48 Scale Scale Douglas A-1J Skyraider

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Here’s Tamiya’s fine Me109 kit in the E-model, the early version that played so large a role in the Battle of Britain. Kit can be built as either the E-4, E-7, E-4/Trop or E-7/Trop.
In this variation, the flaps can be up or down (different parts used for each position) and the leading edge slats are also separately molded and positionable. Cockpit can be open or closed. Upper nose is a separate piece to allow variations and avoid seam headaches, as is the rudder. Three spinner types included, as well as numerous trop. equipment variations. Three different marking schemes provided.
